Description
Rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus), small evergreen plant of the mint family (Lamiaceae), the leaves of which are used to flavour foods. The herb not only tastes good in culinary dishes, such as rosemary chicken and lamb, but it is also a good source of iron, calcium, and vitamin B-6. Herbal tea can be made from the rosemary leaves. When roasted with meats or vegetables, the leaves impart a mustard-like aroma with an additional fragrance of charred wood that goes well with barbecued foods. It is used as a culinary condiment, to make bodily perfumes, and for its potential health benefits. It is typically prepared as a whole dried herb or a dried powdered extract, while teas and liquid extracts are made from fresh or dried leaves.

HOW TO USE:
FOR HAIR: Fill a clean, dry glass jar with dried rosemary leaves. Pour your chosen carrier oil (e.g., olive oil, coconut oil) over the rosemary leaves, ensuring they are fully submerged. Seal the jar tightly and place it in a cool, dark place for 2-4 weeks to allow the infusion to occur. After the infusion period, strain out the rosemary leaves, leaving you with rosemary-infused oil. Apply the rosemary-infused oil to your scalp and hair. Gently massage your scalp for a few minutes to promote circulation. Leave the oil in for at least 30 minutes or overnight for better results. Shampoo and condition your hair as usual.
FOR SKIN: Combine dried rosemary leaves with a carrier oil (e.g., olive oil). Allow it to infuse for 2-4 weeks in a sealed jar. Apply the infused oil to your skin as needed for moisturizing or massage.
FOR HERBAL TEA: Place fresh Stamio rosemary leaves in a cup or teapot. Pour the hot water over the rosemary leaves. Allow it too steep for 5-10 minutes, depending on your desired strength. Strain the tea to remove the leaves if you prefer. Enjoy your rosemary herbal tea as is or with a touch of honey or lemon for added flavor.
